Who we are

The Social Investment Agency is a small government agency with a big mission - to do what works for better lives.  We demonstrate the value of using data, technology, and people’s lived experience to support decision making across the social system. We trial and champion innovative ways government, NGOs and community can work together. Alongside service users we explore, test and develop tools and insights to help all parts of the social system do more of what works for better lives.

We opened our doors in July 2017 and are now moving from start-up, to grown-up. We’re out to add smart people to our permanent talent pool who are agile, curious and hardworking, and who instinctively care about the wellbeing of others. If that’s you - read on.

Who we are looking for?

You will have:

  • Experience at a senior level in a partnership function involving a wide range of stakeholders including working with Māori and Pacific organisations.
  • Extensive networks across the social sector.
  • Experience in identifying and developing key stakeholder relationships, an ability to build and maintain relationships and identify opportunities for partnership.
  • Proven project management skills and experience, ideally within the public service.
  • Proven leadership and decision making experience within a fast moving environment.

If you work with agility, are resilient and can demonstrate your ability to get things done within complex environments – then get in touch.
