What you told us

This report presents the findings of the ‘Your voice, your data, your say’ engagement between May and early September 2018.

The report points to a significant opportunity the Government shares with the social sector, to do what works for better lives. It's important more New Zealanders know what people think about Government’s approach to investing for social wellbeing, and how the social sector uses data.

We’ve chosen to present the report in a way that is ‘true to the voice’ of participants by incorporating well over one hundred anonymised quotes, thoughts and ideas presented by participants who contributed throughout the engagement. The report summarises what each of the participant groups - service users and disabled people, service providers, Māori, Pacific peoples and other national government agencies – told us.
